Cornerstone Learning believes in the success of students. Following the Growth Mindset teaching philosophy and with our proprietary Teach from Every Angle method, we appreciate that students “don’t get it” … yet. With patience and practice, our tutors guide students to the comprehension they require for smaller successes while also providing skills to reach larger successes on their own. Cornerstone Learning is a local firm with locally sourced tutors, website designers, background checkers, etc. Every Cornerstone Learning tutor is local to respective teaching zones, underwent background checks, and has mastered the subjects taught. We’re ready to teach multiple subjects with excellent access to tutors throughout the week instead of only during tutoring sessions.
Costs vary depending on three main factors: (1) The level of the subject being taught. For example, it makes sense to reduce pricing for grades K-5 compared to high school. (2) The time slot. Weekends or very late nights have premium rates while students who can meet during school hours get reduced rates. (3) Whether the service is remote or face-to-face. Online services do not require transportation expenses and can be charged at a reduced rate. Please schedule a consultation to find out more.

Billing occurs automatically every Monday. An invoice will be sent directly to your email account on file with a “Pay Now” button at the bottom. Simply click that to be directed to a secure payments page that accepts all major credit and debit cards.
Yes! Referrals you make that become Cornerstone Learning students each count as 10% off every invoice as long as the referred student(s) remain on the schedule. There’s also $15 off your next lesson after you submit a review to one of these 4 places: Google, our website, Facebook, Thumbtack. You could save up to $60 over four weeks just by writing reviews!
Lessons tend to follow a weekly cycle. However, Cornerstone Learning does not hold students and parents to a week of advanced notice for cancellations. Any cancellation made with greater than 48 hours of notice will be waived. Within 48 hours, clients are billed half of the lesson rate. Cancellations within 24 hours are billed at the full rate.
Upon request, Cornerstone Learning tutors can accommodate small groups. We do not create groups, nor do we take groups greater than 4 for any one tutor in a time slot.
We have a new Spanish tutor, Jacob. Right now, those lessons are offered online only.
